The sweet orange was first found in China. It was introduced to Europe during 9 century B. C. It was rare, so that the price was very expensive. Not until 17th century, the sweet orange was used for medical purposes. Sweet orange essential oil is obtained by cold squeezing of sweet orange peels. The golden-color essential oil is with a fresh scent, which makes people happy. It is a member of the citrus essential oil family.
